Summer Kendo Camp is Back!

Hello everybody!

Kendo Camp is back!
Kimura Sensei will be hosting the 6th Annual Summer Kendo Camp from Friday August 2nd to Monday August 5th (it's the Civic Holiday Weekend...)

Camp and pracices will be held in Bracebridge Ontario. We will be having practice all day Saturday; until 6.00pm on Sunday; and on Monday...Kendo War!!!

Fees are $100.00 per participant, $50.00 for non-kendo guests (yes you can bring your family too!). A late fee of $30.00 will be applied for registration after July 15.00. For more details and registration forms, please visit our web-site at:

BCKF Junior Tournament

The BCKF Junior Tournament was held at the Steveston Community Center on May 11, 2002.  The event attracted 56 young participants including 12 beginners. The event also featured a kendo kata demonstration by M. Hamanaka and T. Hamanaka of UBC Kendo Club.  The tournament results are as follows:
