On
behalf of the Canadian Kendo Federation, I would like to express our
gratitude to Mr. Roy Asa who has dedicated himself for 30 years to
building the Canadian Kendo community. Among his numerous
achievements, he was instrumental in uniting the regional kendo
groups and supporting the development of Kendo, Iaido and Jodo in
Canada. He has been a great ambassador for Canadian Kendo to the
world. Under his tenure, Canadian Kendo achieved world class status.
I appreciate his passion for Kendo and the affection he shows to all
members. Also I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all the
Directors and Executives who have supported and contributed to the
CKF with Mr. Roy Asa.
As
the new CKF president, I am excited to work with all members of the
Federation to increase and strengthen our Kendo, Iaido and Jodo
population across the nation. By recruiting new members and further
developing the talents of our current members and leaders, I hope we
will be able to expand Kendo, Iaido and Jodo in Canada. By doing so,
I hope we can continue to promote Kendo, Iaido and Jodo as an
enjoyable lifelong art.
Thank
you again to all those who have contributed their knowledge, skills
and strong spirit in building our great Budo community. I look
forward to the future of Kendo, Iaido and Jodo in Canada and ask for
your continued support.
