WELCOME!

We are pleased to welcome you to Burnaby, British Columbia, this August for the 22nd Canadian National Kendo Championships (CNKC).

In addition to the Championships, the Canadian Kendo Federation will host seminars on Friday, August 7 and Monday, August 10, as well as the CKF Annual General Meeting on the evening of August 7.

We are honoured to welcome two distinguished guest instructors for this year’s seminars. Team Canada Men’s Head Coach Kiwada Daiki Sensei (Kyoshi 8 Dan) returns to Canada for his third visit and will be joined by Yoshinari Sasagawa Sensei (Kyoshi 7 Dan) of the Hyogo Prefectural Police.
