The 3rd Canadian National Junior Kendo Championships will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 at Burnaby Mountain Secondary School in Burnaby, BC. The tournament weekend will include an Open Practice on Friday, May 18th and. aJunior Training Camp on the morning of Sunday, May 19th. 2023 Canadian National Kendo Championships

21st Canadian National Kendo Championships

August 12-13, 2023
Markham, ON

The 21st Canadian National Kendo Championships will be held August 12th and 13th at the Markham Pan Am Centre in Markham, Ontario. These Nationals will include both the Senior Championships on day 1 and a Junior Championships on day 2. The Annual Genecral Meeting will be held in the evening of Friday, August 11th and a Junior Training Camp will be held in the morning of Monday, August 14th. Details on the championships will be circulated to member clubs in the months to come. Following the cancellation of our Championships in 2020, we are excited to be back in this year, and look forward to seeing everyone in Markham!

Update: Postponed Due to COVID-19 Pandemic

20th Canadian National Kendo Championships

Due to the on-going uncertainty and health risks posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the CKF Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to postpone the 20th Canadian National Kendo Championships, scheduled to be held July 24-27 in Burnaby, BC. This postponement extends to the Annual General Meeting as well as all scheduled activities surrounding the Championships.

The 19th Canadian National Kendo Championships (CNKC) were held on August 5th and 6th at the Markham Pan Am Centre in Markham, Ontario. Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, donors, referees, and participants for making the tournament a success. Full results from the tournament can be found on the 19th CNKC website.

The next CNKC will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia in summer 2020. We look forward to seeing you there!
