CKF is pleased to announce a travel subsidy for the upcoming 2016 FIK Referee Seminar . For members 5 dan and higher, CKF will provide support for travel as follows:
Under 200 km distance, no compensation
200+ km distance, $20/100km distance (rounded down) one-way
500+ km distance, $20/100km OR 75% of airfare rounded down to the nearest $50
For example, coming from Quebec City you could choose to drive and receive $160 (800 km one way, 8X$20). Flying depends on the rate but if you booked today it would be $250 ($363 X .75, rounded down). NOTE: ticket should be Air Canada Tango or Westjet Econo, CKF will adjust if a more expensive fare is selected.
To obtain a subsidy, please email Treasurer John Maisonneuve with either your city of residence (for driving subsidy) or your airline ticket receipt no later than January 16, 2016. He will have a cheque for you at the event.
